Soon.
That's all I can say about book no. 10 in the Detective Marcella Witch's series. It's coming soon.

I do have a working title now: Bury The Witch. Read what you like into it. I ain't saying nothin`.

5x8 paperback edition should finish out at around 350 pages, or 87k words. As soon as the lovely Ms. Vickie reads it and finds her inspiration, she'll start on the book cover, which I expect will be awesome as usual.  Look for a first sneak peek of the cover here.

As always, thanks for stopping by, and remember you can follow me (and by extension, Lilith, Tony & the gang) on Facebook. Just click the icon below.

Quick update. I know you want to know where book 10 in the Detective Marcella Witch's series is.

Well, it's coming. As of today, Oct. 23 2013 I am on page 123 in the paperback version, or roughly, 38k words into it.

As yet, the book is untitled, so I affectionately just call it book 10. If you all have a suggestion for a name, let me hear it. You never know. Lilith was thinking, "Phuck The Witch". I told her I'd think about it.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by. Remember you can always check on things by visiting my Facebook page. Just click on the big f below.

It's here! "Return of the Witch", book 9 in the Detective Marcella witch's series. Available in all e-formats and now in paperback!

Wednesday, September 11, 2013

OK, done. Delivered the e-version of "Return of the Witch" to my publisher this morning. Now working on final formatting for the paperback. In any case, all formats are T-minus 20 days and counting for simultaneous release.

I know many of you have questions...well, at least one big question, and that is: what will Lilith wear to the grand opening?

No? That's not it? Well, whatever questions you have, hope book 9 answers most of them.

Remember Apple readers can pre-order your copy now for immediate delivery at the stroke of zero hour-one-second Oct 1st. Have it already in your device so you can start reading it on your lunch break.

Thanks again for your continued support, everyone. I sincerely hope you've enjoyed the ride as much as I've enjoyed taking you there.

Announcing the long awaited, much anticipated, book no.9 in the Detective Marcella Witch's series. Release date, Oct 1st 2013

However, you can be the very first witch on your block to order a copy through Apple's iBookstore pre-order program. Order today, and at the stroke of midnight (or very soon after) Apple will deliver "Return of the Witch" to your Apple/ePub reading device.

Amazon Kindle readers, fear not. The release date is the same for you, too. The only difference is that on October 1st. your copy won't be waiting for you on your device when you wake up as giddy as a little witch on Solstice morn. You'll have to go to Amazon and get it the old fashioned way. But make it quick when you do, because half the digital world will already have the first six chapters read....

Extra special thanks to my lovely and most talented wife, Miss Vickie, for another wicked cool book cover. Amazing hon. You did it again. Thanks!

And thanks to ALL of you, my fans, who make this journey so emotionally rewarding for me. You witches rock! Big hugs to all of you.

It's HERE!

Gone is the Witch

Book 8 in the Detective Marcella Witch’s series finds Tony spearheading a rescue mission to save the kidnapped Leona Diaz. The problem is, to do it, he’ll have to travel to an alternate universe where the laws of physics take a back seat to the unpredictability of a quasi-dimensional reality.

Seriously? Amazon U.K., are you kidding me? You agree to reinstate the free pricing for Eye Of The Witch just long enough for me to check up on it, and then you raise the price again? You think I'm not watching ? That's absolutely idiotic. With eleven titles available for Kindle, (soon to be twelve) it's proven fact that giving away just one title promotes positive sales of other ten. It's simple economics!

What the hell... I guess I shouldn't bite the hand that feeds me, even though it's a two-way street. My loss is their loss, too.

Meanwhile, over at Amazon U.S., sales are brisk. They are still offering Eye of the Witch free. And, as I mentioned in my last post, the Apple iBookstore included book one of the Detective Marcella Witch's series in their Breakout Books promotion. That has caused downloads of Eye to skyrocket.

Lesson? Free is good. So, just as a reminder for all you U.K. readers, you can download Eye of the Witch for Kindle free on Smashwords. For the rest of you with Nooks, iPads, Sony and Kobo, etc., your ebook retailer still offers the book free.
