Knock-knock. Who's there? It's ME!
I know, you probably can't believe it. My last post was July 21st. Contrary to rumors and suppositions, I am still here, still writing and very much excited about the pending release of the next installment of the Detective Marcella Witch's series, volume eight, Gone Is The Witch.

The awesome and lovely Miss Vickie Donovan has worked up a great book cover design worthy of such a highly anticipated release. I still need to add the title and author, but that's just a few clicks away. In the meantime, she is giving the manuscript one final look-see before I send it off to my dear friend and the best book editor I've ever personally known, Dave Chandler. Incidentally, I believe Dave is available for freelance editing services if you have a book that needs a very keen and talented eye to look at it.

So, what does this all mean as far as scheduling? Well, with luck, I should have Gone Is The Witch ready for download at Amazon and Smashwords (my ePublisher) by Christmas. Downloads at Barnes & Noble, Apple, etc., may take until early January because of their processing times.

It's been a great year thanks to you, my readers, and I anticipate 2013 to be even better. So thanks again for your support, Happy Thanksgiving and stay tuned for my next blog entry, announcing the release of Gone Is The Witch.

Hey everyone,

My apologies to those of you who check in here often, only to see that I have not made a new post in a while. I know it's good practice for anyone who wants to keep his name out there to at least try and post something daily, if not weekly. Truth is I'm not great at promoting myself and prefer, instead, to invest all my spare time (which isn't much) working on my books.

That said, here is a progress report on "Gone Is The Witch", book 8 in the Detective Marcella mystery series AKA The Witch's series. I am on page 200 (a nice milestone) which according to my outline, is about 1/2 way.

Gone Is The Witch is proving to be one of the most fun books I have ever written. It's different, Folks. Of course, I don't want to give too much away, but since it will be mentioned in the book blurb, I can tell you that Tony & Lilith will embark on a rescue mission of sorts that will take them to a very strange and dangerous place. Do you remember the Eighth Sphere from book One? Enough said.

So to all of you who are here checking up on me, and to those who are just stopping by for the first time, I say Greetings and thanks. You can also follow me on my Facebook page where I actually check in a little more often with news and tidbits about my writing and its (sometimes slow) progress.

Best wishes to all!

New Book Cover

ABANDONED, a ghost story, came out on Smashwords in November 2009. It hasn't seen much light of day since then, but it is a good book. Besides lack of exposure, I blame the book cover for its less than stellar performance. Let's face it. People do judge a book by its cover.

I can't do much about the first problem, but I can try to do something about the second. That is to say, my most talented wife, Vickie, can. She has taken up the cause to help me present ABANDONED in the best light possible by designing a new book cover for her favorite book outside the Detective Marcella Witch's series.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: ABANDONED!

Available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords and other fine ebook retailers
